The Academy of Digital Animation is now
entering its fifth year of offering online
courses that are intended for students who want to
learn digital animation in a "work at your own
pace" environment. Intermediate skills in digital
painting and digital video editing [e.g.,
Photoshop and Premiere] are required. Each student
must also have a high degree of computer literacy
and must be comfortable in basic web page design
and the use of FTP.
The course lectures are webcasted in Tegrity,
Camtasia, RealVideo and Quicktime formats. A CDROM
and a printed version of the ebook containing
uncompressed digital video demonstrations of all
course tutorials and projects are mailed out to
each online student upon receipt of tuition. Cerro
Coso College has been the national leader in
online education since 1996 - and these
comprehensive courses are designed and delivered
taking the fullest advantage of our six years of
providing courses and degree programs online.
Course tools include instructor facilitated
discussion groups, the interactive course ebook [CDROM]
containing full screen digital video
demonstrations of each course tutorial and
project, on demand help-desk, and a complete range
of student learning support services [library,
counseling, admissions and records, etc.].
You can enroll in one or more classes depending
on your schedule and skill level.
