The
Web Design Associate of Science Degree (60 units total, 30 units in the
major) teaches students the fundamentals of web design. Students who
complete this training will be capable of creating web sites composed of
text, digital graphics, video, animation, and interactive media. They will
acquire the skills and experience to take a project through each phase of a
web site production process. Students will develop strong communication
skills as they learn to write web content, work collaboratively with their
peers, and work with clients. Students may tailor their certificate to
emphasize several niche areas in web design, graphic design, programming,
content development, animation, multimedia, or portfolio development. This
program will also help students to prepare for a variety of industry
certifications. Visit the Web design
Program Brochure Website for more information.
An Associate of Science Degree in Web Design can be obtained by completing
Cerro Coso's General Education requirements in addition to the Web Design
Certificate courses. Any student completing the courses required for the
major qualifies for a certificate in Web Design.
