Welcome to the Fine Arts websiteThe Fine Arts program at Cerro Coso College offers students extensive hands-on experience working with a variety of art media through a variety of courses designed to teach students the elements and principles of design, how to apply those principles to their own work, and inspire students to expand upon their own creativity. With courses ranging from ceramics and sculpture to photography and 2D design, students have a wide selection of courses to fit their particular interests. For the student hoping to earn a degree in the field of Art we offer an Associate of Art in Fine Art to give you a solid foundation in a variety of courses, including Art History. Why Choose Our ProgramThe Fine Arts major is designed for students with a broad interest in the Arts, and can be completed by taking a combination of courses in the visual arts, drama, computer graphics and music. This major consists of 24 units of required coursework, which may also be used to satisfy the Humanities General Education requirement for graduation. |
