ART C161 - Beginning Photography
A/CSU 3.00 Units
This is an entry-level course about photography as an art form,
communications tool, avocation, and profession. To build art and craft
skills, students complete weekly assignments using 35mm color slide film.
Students are encouraged to develop a personal vision and to express that
vision photographically. Assignments reflect contemporary artistic and
commercial uses of photography. Equipment, film, and processing is the
student’s responsibility. This is not a darkroom class.
