CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides practical experience in the diagnosis, repair,
adjustment and maintenance of automotive comfort and ventilating systems.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and theory underlying
the design, construction and operation of air conditioning and heating
system components. This will be assessed through direct observation,
scored by a rubric.
- Practice safe, clean, trade-like work habits. This will be assessed
through direct observation, scored by a rubric.
- Access shop/service manuals, catalogs, flat rate manuals and other
materials to formulate solutions to diagnostic problems. This will be
assessed through direct observation, scored by a rubric.
