Business Programs

Accelerated Certificate Programs

Cerro Coso Community College offers a sequence of classes that allows students to earn a Business Administration Certificate or a Business Office Technology Certificate in less than one year. Click on the links to the right to view the course requirements for each certificate.

Business Administration

For working professionals pursuing a promotion or a career change

  • Courses are each 4 weeks in length.
  • Students attend class two nights a week and on Saturdays taking one course at a time.
  • Program is designed to enable students to complete requirements in less than one year.

Office Technology

To train for your first office or clerical job

  • Courses are held in the mornings on Monday through Thursday
  • Program is designed to enable students to complete requirements in two semesters.

These programs will provide students

  • An educational cohort that provides support, teamwork and sharing of experiences in the classroom
  • The knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a global business environment
  • Short term courses in a logical sequence that provide greater retention and transfer of learning
