The Child Development Program at Cerro Coso
College offers various types of training & job opportunities for
students and faculty. At the Child
Development Center student workers receive hands on
experience with children while concurrently taking child
development courses. Our
Distance
Learning Program offers a variety of online learning
opportunities to it's students, as well as online teaching
opportunities to it's faculty.
The Training Consortium is providing a cost-effective training
to eligible personnel employed by the various Child Development
programs. One of the main focuses of the Child Development
Program is to work with childcare professionals in the community to identify and meet their
needs. We also have a variety of
resources available to assist both faculty and students to
meet their various child development needs. Through our various
programs and projects we encompass the wide range of the child
development field and provide a variety of services and training
to members of our service area. To learn more about the various
