Web Development with Microsoft FrontPage
CATALOG COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
Students will learn the basic skills necessary to create and manage a
website through the use of Microsoft FrontPage including creating
hyperlinks, embedding pictures, creating tables and using frames. Students
will also learn how to use shared borders and themes and how to publish
their site.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will
demonstrate:
- A basic understanding of the structure of
websites.
- An understanding of the basic use of
Microsoft FrontPage.
- The ability to create and revise a web
page using the FrontPage editor.
- The ability to manage webpages and folders
using the FrontPage Explorer.
- The ability to create bulleted and
numbered lists.
- Demonstrate the ability to create
Hyperlinks and bookmarks.
- Demonstrate the ability to insert and
manipulate pictures.
- Demonstrate the ability to create and
manipulate tables.
- Demonstrate the ability to create and
manipulate frames.
- Demonstrate the ability to create a
website with shared borders.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with
themes.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with
forms.
- Demonstrate the ability to publish a
website.
